In Town or Out of Town
Most of our clients live in their home while we are working on their remodeling project and we work hard to isolate them from the potential inconveniences of living in a construction zone. However, others are off site during construction. While some of these clients remain close by as the changes to their home are made, it is not unusual for us to handle projects for homeowners who are out of state or even out of country while we work in their home. Is it Time for a Change? Reorganize your space on the go.
Whether or not you can be close by during a remodeling project, rest assured that Weidmann is there for you. Indeed, your project manager will be on site daily to make sure we are delivering everything as promised, while maintaining regular and timely communication among and between our clients, trade contractors, suppliers and office. With today’s technology, our staff has the capability to keep you in the loop, whether you are down the street or around the world due to business, an extended vacation, or residing at a second home. We will work with your schedule and availability to provide regular updates on the progress of the job. Moreover, like all of our jobs, the Weidmann Team takes the lead on assuring that all work meets our high quality standards, with great attention to detail.
Out of state, around the world or on a cruise remodeling or renovating a home from a distance is possible.
Even a large project can be completed while you are away. With proper planning and preparation, there is no reason that a little distance should prevent you from undertaking a sizable change to your Atlanta home.
Striving for the Best Results
Most homeowners have a budget in mind when they are planning a remodeling project. In recognition of this fact, many remodeling companies limit the design options they provide their clients to ones that are in line with the budget. However, in our experience, this does not generally produce the best end result.
Designing to the Dream
While seeking the most cost effective way to address a maintenance project may be appropriate, limiting the options presented to a client on a remodeling project in the interest of hitting a budget essentially denies the homeowner the opportunity to see what is really possible for their home. As a result, the project design is being driven by the contractor, instead of the homeowner.
Weidmann Remodeling identifies the objectives homeowners are trying to achieve or the problems they are trying to resolve, then creating multiple options to address their concerns. While not all the options may fit within the budget, the client can now decide how they want to spend their money. For some, they increase their budget once they see the dream. For others, we explore ways to scale back the project to fit their target investment level. Either way, the finished project typically includes features that would never have been considered, if we had limited the original design options to fit the budget.
